Action Begets Action
Each year, Two Brain Business puts on a Summit that brings together gym owners from all over the world. This was my second time attending, and while a lot of the content felt familiar, the message that hit home for me wasn’t new. It was necessary.
I don’t struggle with knowing what to do. I struggle with waiting for the perfect time to do it. I’ve spent too long waiting for things to feel “just right” before taking the next step in my business or in my own personal growth. I want the stars to align, the calendar to be clear, the to-do list to be done. But that perfect scenario doesn’t exist.
It never has. And it never will.
The funny thing is, I actually love taking action. It’s one of the reasons I’ve made it this far. When I opened my gym, I didn’t have it all figured out. I just knew I was passionate and willing to learn along the way. I’ve always believed in jumping in and finessing the process as I go. That scrappy, courageous energy is what built EMPOWERHOUSE. And still, even with that track record, I sometimes find myself hesitating now, waiting for the right moment to act again.
Waiting keeps me stuck. But action? Even the smallest action? It creates momentum. One simple step leads to the next best thing. One win builds on another. Progress happens when we stop waiting and start moving.
This is true in business. It’s ALSO true in strength training. It’s true in health.
You don’t need to wait until you feel ready. You don’t need the perfect program or schedule or playlist. You just need to show up. Attend one session. Do one rep. Take one step. Breathe through one hard thing. Then do the next one.
I’m taking action to be a better entrepreneur to build a stronger gym. One that continues helping people continue to take action in their own lives. Movement begets movement. Action begets action.
If you’ve been waiting for a sign, let this be it. Your next step doesn’t have to be big. It just has to be now.
Ready to talk to us about your goals and see if we’re a good fit? Take action now and let’s get started!
